Acer palmatum 'Katsura' is a small, slow growing, deciduous tree with arching branches of orange filigree leaves, which puts on a spectacular, fiery show in autumn, making it ideal as a focal point in a small garden. This award-winning selection of Japanese Maple makes a wonderful feature or specimen plant. Never taller than a small tree, it is slow growing, forming an upright mound of cascading branches. Holder of an RHS Award of Garden Merit, this Japanese Maple is covered in pink edged, yellow-orange leaves from early spring, the canopy fades to green over summer, before erupting into an orange inferno in autumn.
